I wonder if that will ever happen in Portland. Oden? Roy? Aldridge? Those three with Rudy Fernandez coming over, Sergio Rodriguez developing, Martell Webster draining 3's, and Travis Outlaw should be enough to win a few championships in the 2010's. That's not even mentioning Jack, James Jones, Blake, Fyre, and a lottery pick this year. Your team will be fine. It'll just take a few years. I have to wait about 20 more before the Pacers have a chance at winning anything.

Not just my favorite, the one that I have been going to games since about 1985. Until Duncan came along, we were the team that couldn't ever get over the hump. It hasn't always been easy.

I love this quote from you Knicks.
"An All-Star Roy will never be."
The Blazers are in great shape, if we don't make the playoffs next year I will be surprised.
The Blazers were the youngest team coming into the season, and winning 13 in a row with that youth in the NBA, and without Oden is VERY impressive.
I have a great feeling about this off-season, KP is the best GM I have ever seen. I can see the Blazers trading a solid Veteran like: RJ Maggete Jamison Miller etc....
Especially with all the expiring contracts that the Blazers will have this off-season, it won't be tough trading for a big name guy on a rebuilding team.

Don't worry, my other teams make up for the Spurs success. Cubs, Rangers, Dolphins.

Blazers are gonna have a ton of cap in 2009.
And that FA market is looking promising.
I think the 2009-2010 season is where we make our run.

You're right. Roy was an All-Star. I guess I know nothing. Good call Magic. Give the kid his props for holding onto that. Wow. I guess the whole "I told you so" thing is a staple at your place. Wow. I haven't heard that in a while.
Of course, I still don't think he's a "real" all-star. He made one game and much of that was based on the PR push by the Blazers. I don't think he's as good as homer Blazer fans do. I think Oden is the next Sam Bowie. He had microfracture surgery before he's played one game in the NBA. Aldridge looks like he could be the next Chris Bosh if he keeps it up. He looks very talented. I'm not as sold on the foreign PGs like everyone else in Portland.
Oh yeah, there's also the very real chance that the Portland Trailblazers could become the NEW Seattle Sonics in a year or two.
I guess that means I'm not a "real" fan huh? Oh well. I don't know anything anyway.

Maggette is coming to the Raptors in a sign and trade with TJ Ford this offseason. Because Bryan Colangelo is a 10 times better GM then whoever you mentioned Magic and because the Clippers need a PG badly.

Looks like the Raptors are pretty much done. I'm not expecting a miracle, but would be awesome if it happened.

Brandon Roy for Telfair/Ratliff Tyrus Thomas for LaMarcus Aldridge What did Kevin Pritchard start with? Darius Miles/Ruben Patterson/ more "jail" blazers that were old and on bad contracts. Turning that into Oden/Rot/Aldridge + more and a .500 record in 2 years is pretty good.

Do you really think that guys like Chris Paul and Deron Williams/Bynum will leave there teams for us? I mean, CP3 has a young team #2 team in the west. Deron has Boozer/AK/Okur whats the point of leaving them for a worse team(as of know) like the Blazers? Bynum has Kobe and we already have Oden so yeah. I think that waiting and hoping that we land someone good in FA next year won't work out well. I think that KP will make a big move on draft day for a solid player.
