I needed my 05 first back since I don't plan on being any good. Didn't do Knicks any good to hang onto it though if I kept everybody. Timmy is the best player but he's old and expiring. I don't have to get him back now. I'll give Marion a TC to see what happens although I'm not going to expect anything. I'm shaking things up a bit.

I think it is about even. Hardaway is going to retire soon and 6ers is getting decent(although expensive) players and his pick

Tim will retire, and Marion/Leon/1st are a lot to give for 40 games of supreme PG play.
Sixers by a little.

Fine, let me change my comment ... Tim will retire, and Marion and a 1st, plus downgrading Leon to Anderson are a lot to give for 40 games of supreme PG play. Sixers by a little. better?

I don't think anything going to the 76ers would make having Timmy as a rental the rest of the year, a bad deal in any way.
Also, Andersen is an UPGRADE to Smith, so thats another big +.

Nothing Anderson did starting last sim (for injured Elden) does justify him being an upgrade. 12ppg, 9rpg, 1+bpg and a better part of the Knicks just going 3-3. And since both Leon and Anderson improved about the same since being drafted, both had losing TCs this season, I would take the better offense and shot blocking from Leon anytime. But let me add one: if the Knicks win the title this is 100% in their favor. And they do have a better shot now, no doubt.

Nothing Anderson did starting last sim (for injured Elden) does justify him being an upgrade. 12ppg, 9rpg, 1+bpg and a better part of the Knicks just going 3-3. Those are good numbers to take in exchange for Smith. What better offense? Smith's only averaging 9 points per 48 minutes. Andersen is averaging 10 points per 29 minutes. Smith isn't a scorer at all. He just had a good last year for me because my team was depleted. He's a better shot blocker, sure, but he doesn't even play B+ defense at PF, which means his other defensive ratings are inferior to Andersen's.

When it comes down to it, this deal was really about moving the Sixers pick back o Philly for his rebuild. Smith, Marion, Anderson, etc aren't exactly world-beaters. I moved the pick back to Philly and picked up Hardaway for a playoff run. I got what I wanted and the Sixers got what he wanted. This was a very easy deal to pull off because the Sixers GM is an easy one to deal with. I know exactly what I get with him. It's like dealing with the old Spurs GM. We didn't set out to "win" the deal. That's likely why the teams involved didn't post a comment thread. It came from a "dis-interested" party. However this breaks down I think we're both happy with what we got.

there's this woman that lives across the street from me and i think she spends at least three hours a day gardening in her front yard. i wonder if she really has that much to do out there and why she always wears the same teal blue t-shirt.

There's a lady who knows, all that glitters is gold, and she's buying a stairway to heaven. When she gets there she knows, if the stores are all closed, with a word she can get what she came for.
