This is how i looked at it.
in 19 minutes, he gets 4.4 and 4.5 shooting .428 from the field and .613 from the free throw line. That tells me his inside isn't too high and his jumper is pretty low.
Do his per 48 #'s and hes barely reaching 10/10.
You can also say he doesn't score cause he doesn't need to, but still his %'s suck.

I think he is better then you are giving him credit, but that is my opinion

Bomerman, hit me up with some trade deals. Oh, as far as the deal... How can I NOT love this? Zo moves out of my division. Happy day.

Don't like this for the sixers at all. A 26-13-3.5 players doesn't go for a former 2nd rounder and late first.
Darius Miles can play defense, that's about it. He hasn't proven anything at the next level. And Ketner is nice, but come on.
I'm surprised the sixers really couldn't find anything better for ZO. Lakers are looking deadly.

This is ok for the sixers. They get two young pieces in Miles and Ketner. None of these is a superstar but for a 33yr old on a horrible contract (by all accounts) you can't expect young superstars, no matter how good he is (and honestly, Zo is no DRob. There's more visible decline in him at age 33 than DRob did show 3 years later) And I have to disagree with the Heat too. Sorry man, but i really don't see how you could have beaten the Lakers offer. Apart from Odom there's nothing on the Heat i'd take over Miles and Ketner (not even Eddy, who's a single digit guy against better opponents). As for the Lakers, they are the favourites this year (IMO they were among those before, seeing that they were unmanaged for the better part of the season) but are seriously in trouble if Zo retires ... ... and if you forgot, my trade pickup from last deadline, Gugliotta, retired half a season later at age 33, like some big guys before. You can always get more for stars, but as mentioned before they are often traded below their face value in the latter stages of their career. So I guess this deal works both ways ...

... and i can at least DREAM of making up the 9 games i'm behind th Sixers with 22 to go in the season.
;D

I have talked to Sixers, and most of the deals out there were not good at all he told me. He wanted to trade him, he advertised it, and when an offer HE liked came along he took it.

He wanted to trade him, he advertised it, and when an offer HE liked came along he took it. relax, nobody is thinking YOU erred here. everyone of us would have jumped on that deal too. The main reason I didn't throw one of my good picks into the equation is that I feel i'm not that close to contending (and a little the memories of Googs painful retirement) that it would justify giving up a big part of the future (one stud youth plus lotto pick). So at least I for once will play the "take your time" instead of "panic move" game ...

Are the 6ers really going to resign miles? This is almost a give away....Don't get me wrong if Zo doesn't retire withing 3 years his contract is going to be god aweful.

Heat told me what he offered, now unless he lied to me which i doubt (why would he?)...His offer was twice if not 3 times better then what he got from LA.
Hornets - How do you not see anything better then a fake player and Darius Miles. You must be kidding when you say Ketner over Curry, i'll take that comment as a joke on your part, not only is he 3 letter grades better, but hes also a real player who still has A potential.
Then you take a look at Dalembert, Divac, Bibby, Peterson, Hill, all being better then any single piece he got back.
While Ketner is a decent piece, hes a fake player and that only goes so far.
This comes down to what 76ers likes as LA said. If 76ers didn't like any of the pieces coming from Miami (which is hard to believe), then you can't blame him for doing this deal.

Why would I trade Zo to: a) Someone in my own division b) And a team whose pick I own.
I made it obviously aware that Zo was leaving, and even mentioned he would probably go 50 cents to the dollar and you could all have your fun bashing me in the trade comment thread. I had several teams make offers in that time period. Lakers was the best. Heat hadn't talked to me since the beginning of the season or before. I couldn't even remember his offer other than Curry. It pays to be active I guess. Hornets had Zo locked up but decided to go another route. I think he made the right choice. Don't blame me because you did not offer for Zo, or didn't have the pieces to offer for Zo, or had no interest in Zo but think its a terrible trade. Just call me Kevin McHale.

Ketner is not your average fake player, guys. He's one from that famous 99 draft (think Cronin f.e.) and has increased 7 net ratings since being drafted while keeping his pot. And Eddy is a joke. Have you even watched some box scores? This guy drops to 8/4 when facing REAL competition (just watch his famous ZERO rebound game against LBA superstar Brian Grant here: lba-sim.atspace.com/LBA/boxes/79-5.html). If you would take THAT guy over someone who can actually PLAY, you are seriously in trouble ...

I'm sure if i looked at Ketner, he would have shit games too. 76ers - You having his 1st really doesn't matter, his 1st is crap already and with or without Zo will continue to be crap. Although not dealing in the same division makes sense. Both sides of the story must be said for everything to be clear. I obviously didn't offer enough for Zo, and Heat didn't talk to 76ers since the beginning of the season. Though you did tell me you weren't dealing Zo for anything, but you did do just that.
