wow, what a FA period. 100% of my tasks completed positively.
I resigned Rashard Lewis, who I STILL hope he'll transform into a starter anytime soon ... and then I stole Tony Battie for the MLE.
So I bring back the complete team from last season that went to game 7 of the finals, and added a starting C, my weakest spot.

Hornets and Cavs did a great job in FA.
FA was really lopisided becasue some of the teams aren't filled/I'm assuming not eveyrone turned in bids.
I stole Earl Watson with my LLE. He's a quality starter (8.4 assists/1.5 topg last year). Might move Nash off the ball and start Earl at PG.
And its time to throw some PPs into West's defense. I hope i have some available.

I would hope the teams woithout a GM were on CPU control (unless there were hard cap issues). So they SHOULD HAVE made automatic bids ...

ok, bullshit. When I see the Cavs got guys like Eddie Jones, Howard and Anderson for MINIMUM contracts (not one, all three, plus more) I assume I'm wrong. And that's a horrible mistake from tao. Hey, it's nice when the "human-led" teams are better than cpu teams, but first of all it completely destroys the balance of the league, it makes cpu teams worthless (as in "forget to find a GM for that crap left") and it leaves a restart as soon as possible as only alternative (which will drive even more veteran GMs away that built their teams over years) Ouch ...

Bloody San Antonio, it's too damn hot, and no one wants to go here. Only resigned Alvin Williams for 1 year, 10 mill.

Also I presume Tao means 5 pm Thursday and not a week from now.

I didn't put them under CPU control. It was a conscious choice. I don't want CPU teams to be good in this league. After everyone has signed their FA today, I'm gonna have the CPUs fill their roster. Under so circumstances should we have CPU teams in the Conference Finals. The draft I have no problem with, but I think CPU teams winning kills the league.
Ideally, if we get the league filled, this wouldn't even be a problem. Still, it will take me a while to recover from the offseason from hell, so we could be looking at a full league only at the end of this season.

I agree completely with the Hornets. =(

I also agree with the Hornets, because a crappy team is going to be hard to find a replacement GM for.
