Will Rookies have a better chance of improving if they get more playing time during the season? What about older players?
Basically... can a players development be stunted by sitting on the bench too long?
Thanks.

i don't believe playing time has any factor in development (which sucks). I have seen guys improve 5 ratings in TC after a season where they didn't play one second and I have seen guys regress who were great studs in their rookie season playing 35+mpg. Three factors are important for player development: - true potential (> 75 and he'll improve most likely, <55 and he'll go down most likely) - luck (sim the same TC 10 times and you'll get 10 different results. Probably even 8 times an improvement, but also 2 times he'll lose on ratings) - roster position (very underrated !!)

In terms of "roster position" are you referring to the position the player is assigned (i.e C, PF, etc) or are you talking about the depth of the position in the roster? I assume you're talking about the former.

Yeah, I have labbed this as well in the past, and found the results to be pretty random. I honestly don't know if anything impacts them other than their potential rating. Also keep in mind that some players do improve or get worse without changing letter grades.
Hornets, I'm curious as to what you mean by position as well. I think the position the player is assigned to has something to do with the categories that are more likely to improve and go down. I'm not sure about that, but have also always been curious if TC's will affect a player more if say a player is your only PF. I haven't personally seen any hard evidence of either, but am curious as to what you think goes on.
