I just wanted to make sure I doing this properly, but what format do you want to see the FA bids in? i.e. Is it a little too overboard to send a list of 30 guys ranked in order of preference and ask you to go down until I no longer have cap room, or are there limits on the number of guys you can offer? Should you only offer the guys you really want and make the bids work within your cap exclusively? i.e. If I have 20 mil in cap can I offer 3 guys 10 mil each the 1st year knowing I'll only get 2 at the most. See what I'm getting at? How can we make it easy (for you and us) and fair?

couple of things with FA (and good question btw)
1. All bids must be made by alphabetical order of the first name. Otherwise they are void. 2. All bids should be posted by saying the number of years of the deal, the amount of the first year salary, and the percent raise you want each year. 3. You may enter any reasonable amount of bids for players. If you have cap of 20 mil, that means the computer will look at all of your bids and hopefully some of them will sign. If you use all of your cap then your remaining bids will become void automatically by the computer (not the case for MLE's, LLEs and League minimum offers) 4. There is no entering a preference of which guys you would like first. This is not an option in the game and the only thing I can do is enter all bids you give me and the computer decides who gets who. What alot of people do is make agressive bids for people your really really want on days 1-2 and then make bigger offers to 2nd or 3rd tier guys if they dont' get them. thats more your strategy. 5. If you have less than 4.5 mil in cap you may sign someone for the MLE, if you have less than 1.2 mil in cap you may sign someone for the LLE. YOu may only sign one of each and you can just put mle or lle for your bid. If you are over the cap you can still sign people for the league mininum. 6. You may resign your own guys even if you are over the cap as long as you have birds on them. The only usual exceptions to this are 2nd round picks. 7. You may offer up to a 10 percent raise each year, unless its your own player then you may offer up to 12.5 percent. You can offer a 6 year deal for any player , unless its your own guy then you may offer 7 years.
Any questions?
