You gotta focus on quality deals intead of overpaying.
We forgot who pays the bills. It's the customer who pays the bills.

Max's and Minimums, along with MLE and LLE don't increase, so why should the cap? no, that's not true. min, lle, and mle stay the same, regardless of the salary cap, but max offers are always a certain percentage of the salary cap. So for 0-6 yrs of expeirience it's 25%, and with a 50mill cap that means 12.5 mill initial max salary ... and consequently for every 4 mill the sal cap increases it's 1 mill up in the max contracts. (nice that even YOU can be teached a thing or two about FBB ...) ;D

But in real life, when the Cap goes up, i certainly knew that the Max's also go up.

Yeah, I'm not sure what was taught there either. The min's and maximum's have never changed, so why would the cap? The same minimums and max's apply for a 10 year vet that applied 10 seasons ago for a 10 year vet. The fact that the max's move with the cap have nothing to do with the Lakers statement, since the cap has not changed.

The amount we can offer players has never changed, it has always been the same. I mean yes the max offer is higher to a vet player, but it has not changed.

I was referring to the Sonics statement that there's no use changing the cap since min/max wouldn't increase.
and that's all i said. IF the cap increases THEN max increases too.

"Any chance of increase by like 5 million with the increasing salaries" - That was his question.
My response was - "Max's and Minimums, along with MLE and LLE don't increase, so why should the cap?"
I only said that Max's and Min's don't increase, so why would the cap? I never said that if the cap did increase, max's and min's wouldn't, cause i knew they would if the cap was changed.
