Declared for the LBA after his Junior year in college. He has had an illustrious college career. He left College with career averages of 21 points, 13 rebounds, 4 blocks on 61% shooting per game. Shaq was named Player of the Year by Sports Illustrated in 1991, First Team All-American in 1991 and 1992 and Southeastern Conference (SEC) Athlete of the Year in 1992. After only three years in the NCAA he became the first player since Charles Barkley to lead the SEC in rebounding for three consecutive seasons and was the all-time leader in blocked shots.
Strengths :
This guy is just straight up big!! Hes a monster in the middle and a bully!! He is very agile and quick for someone his size and often suprises defenses with his ability at finding his way to the basket for the alley oop. He is automatic from 10 feet in and has a nice little baby hook shot. His 4.5 blocks a game show he has great awareness down low .
Weaknesses :
The only glaring weakness of Shaqs game is his free throw shooting. At a disappointing 57.5%, it is a part of his game that needs working on. In the LBA he will find his way to the foul line alot in the closing stages of the game and will need to make alot of free throws.
Overall :
The sky is the limit for this guy.. At only 20 years of age he has a big career ahead of him and will find his way into the hall of fame at the end of it. LBA will not know what hit them when he comes into the league.
Projected : 1-2
