definitely. If i want to win now, right away, i'd probably take Stack over PP, but for today only, not tomorrow. Really? Regardless of age and if I just wanted to win this year. I'd prefer PP. I mean, it really depends on the team I already have and what my needs are. But PP is very versatile and he can do a lot more than Stackhouse can, so I'd actually just PP.

OMG. Are you serious Rockets? Your credibility keeps taking hits every time you post. You're saying that because the Blazers went 13-0 and the Mavs went 10-5 that Pierce is better than Stackhouse? Um no, please read correctly before you start scrambling like an utter fool. I said that the Blazers went 13-0 with Pierce. And the Blazers went 10-5 with Stackhouse. And I think that shows that getting Pierce made the Blazers a better team. I said that Pierce was the best player in the deal, and that his play would make the blazers a better team. And guess what, it did. So please stop taking me out of context, it ruins your credibility and shows how immature you are. Thanks. HA HA HA HA HA! Nope.

This is opinionated though.
If you look at the stats of both players on both teams. You clearly have to see that Stackhouse is the better scorer because his PPG went up by 2 or 3 since being moved to Dallas. It will likely keep going up as well. While Pierce's have dropped since joining the Blazers. That leads me to believe that Stackhouse is the better scorer which should be obvious enough already B+ B+ > B- B+.
Also, when is B+ defense better then A-. We all can safely assume that both of them are about the same athletically, so Stackhouse isn't going to have a "much" if any higher Jump, Speed or Strength rating.
Its also safe to assume that Stackhouse and Pierce have identical if not close Steal ratings, while Pierce's block rating is a tad higher since Stack has not blocked 1 shot all season.
Now when we talk about overall. Of course Pierce is nicer. Hes almost as close to Stackhouse in scoring, and hes almost at Stackhouse' defensive level. But his handles and near 10 rebounds are what put him over the top.
It comes down to whether or not you want a pure scorer who can defend on your team, or if you want a guy who will pass and rebound at the 3.

Blazers just get weaker by a small amount, no huge deal.
