Hughes
for
Alvin Donnell Spurs pick this year
I don't know about you guys, but I think the Raptors got amazing value for a late lotto first. Hughes is pretty sick.

Trading a 24yr old superstar for a borderline top 10 pick (at best), which could drop out of the lottery as well, is probably the worst deal i've ever seen here.
Beats Zo by a huge margin (who was at least so old he could retire any day)
No idea what the Pistons were thinking here. Yikes !!!

am i the only one that finds the Hornets new banner incredibly "creepy". take it easy, you're doing a good job. In fact I think you are having the Hawks overachieving, cause the future will be yours but the present is a dogfight. And I love how you beat the best team in the league TWICE, so the jab in my sig is more directed to that sorry bunch ... ;D

but if it's really the pix, yeah those are a nice colletion. Damon's one is from the nbacriminals site, Corey's from bballone's player sites, and while Marc's arguably the least ugly one I could find, Toine's a steal from the basketbawful blog (cool site btw.): title: Nobody can ever steal his championship ... although we all kind of wish we could.

Advantage Raps, especially if over the last few sims the Spurs move out of the lotto, which is possible. He just gave up one of the better young scorers for a possible lotto this year that wont get him anyone that is comparable to Hughes.

Hornets thinks this is a terrible deal. yet I asked if he offered the Mavs pick which is essentially the same (one higher right now) and of course he said no. He seems to think that Mavs pick is on a different level than the Spurs even though Rice is the best player on either team and he still didn't offer it. Where the Spurs pick falls is hard to gauge but its easy to see it will be a lotto pick. The Spurs are 5.5 behind the Warriors and still have the Sonics in front of them, and are 7 back in the loss column. I'll bet Wade and Garnett against anyones top two players that the Spurs don't make the playoffs. Not to mention that this pick looks real real good top 10 and the Spurs currently is 9th with the Pistons probably moving up from this deal as well.
If anyone with a pick so much better than the Spurs pick this year that would give it up for Hughes let us all know but I highly doubt it.

All I know is that the Rockets GM is the king of trade comment threads now. He starts everyone one.

I dont think he was really bitching, but oh well. I just think this was a bad deal for the Pistons, but then again the league has a tendency to not make good offers, so this could have been the best.
